can someone help me open the STE file from solidworks simulation?

I have zipped the file. It contains nodal stresses from a finite element analysis. I would like to access the data from matlab. I guess for some this can be helpfull. http://www.pveng.com/FEA/FEANotes/SWS_FileFormat/SWS_FileFormat.php And I guess the file format of the STE file is proprietary binary format, what ever that means??

According to the information you linked to, the STE file format itself is known, and the site provides an Excel macro to examine STE files, given a couple of pieces of size information. However, some of the other Solidworks files have unknown file formats.
