hello,
Does anyone know how to compile a .m file in an executable file using Matlab 2012b?
It's pretty easy in 2016a as the compiler is an app but I think it was not the case in the 2012 version.
Thank you in advance

You can also send an email to support@mathworks.com but I really don't recommend it since that will be so very much slower than just calling them on the phone. Installation help is free for everyone including those with the Student Suite.

You need the MATLAB Compiler for the appropriate version. The details are not all that different from R2016a compiling, except that the methods of setting up toolchains was improved since R2012b.
