Will Simulink support Modelica in the future?

I am aware of SimScape, but I wonder if there are plans for Simulink to support Modelica also. I highly recommend this addition because Modelica is rapidly becoming (and was designed to be) an industry standard. The Mathworks should not be beft behind.
