How can I use fftshift to shift the phase of an image(interferogram)?

Looking at the equation above it is clear that the function is shifted by x0 and y0 after performing fftshift. If I wish to change the phase by pi/2 (90 degrees) or pi(180 degrees) instead how can I use fftshift or other methods to achieve this?
