Matlabpool unable to delete jobs
Show older comments
In attempting to use "matlabpool open", I get the error: "Warning: Found 1 pre-existing communicating job(s) created by matlabpool that are running. You can use 'matlabpool close force local' to remove all jobs created by matlabpool."
When I then try to use "matlabpool close force local", I get the error: "Warning: Cannot cancel or destroy a job that was not created by this Local cluster."
If I go into home->environment->parallel->monitor jobs, I see a job created by me last week that has 4 tasks and is still in "running" state. It does not allow me to delete it; when I try, I get the same warning as the line above.
I have searched and searched and cannot find a way to get rid of this. Does anyone know how to delete this job? (Note that I am using R2013A with the parallel computing toolbox)
Thanks!

Hi,
I'm having the same issue. Were you able to solve this? I'm running MATLAB on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 on single node in a cluster.
Thanks, Harshad
