I am currently using EEGLAB and FASTER artefact detection toolboxes in order to analyse EEG data. As part of the process of the FASTER toolbox a file relating to the locations of electrodes must be supplied. This simply displays the channel number, name and coordinates of their position on the scalp. The nets used for this research are 256 channel nets from EGI, and despite scouring the internet and asking EGI directly, I have been unable to find a file for 256 electrodes.
There are files to many other electrode set ups on the EEGLAB website (specifically here https://sccn.ucsd.edu/wiki/Channel_Location_Files), including a link to a 256 channel one, though this is a dead link. This does however indicate that such a file does exist, I have just been unable to find it.
If anyone knows where I could find this file please let me know!
Thanks
Aaron
