How to solve Poisson distribution ?

Hi,
I have equation more similar like [d(x)P(x;m1)]P(x;m2). I have the probability value of d(x) and have x values. How can I find the value of m1 and m2? Basically m=m1+m2.
As far my knowledge, this is poisson probability distribution. I am struggling to solve this in matlab. Please help me.
