Matlab R2007a and the Arduino Interface Package
Show older comments
Has anyone successfully used the interface packages for the Arduino with Matlab using the Matlab version R2007a? I get all types of errors trying to run arduino.m and I think it's mostly syntax because it's written for a newer version of Matlab. I also cannot configure the preferences for the arduino either. It seems to not recognize the command given in the readme file. I'm just wondering if there is an easy fix or if I will need to go through all the m-files and try to debug them for use with the R2007a version of Matlab.

Lealand: It might help if you could post the exact error messages. Your question is fairly vague for the casual contributor.

I would _speculate_ the package was written using the tilde "discard" operator and that is causing syntax problems with R2007a. Repairs are not difficult but they can be tedious.
