How do I keep the menu tabs from disappearing?

Each time I click on something in the editor the menu tabs (Home, Apps, Plot, Editor, etc) keep minimizing and I have to manually click on it to bring it back. How do I stop this?

Click on any of the tabs (Home, Apps, Plot, etc) and at the very bottom right corner, there's a little grey thumbtack. Click that.

It's possible to minimise the toolstrip which I guess is what you might be referring to here. Check the first item on the link below.
