I uninstalled MATLAB and now i cant reinstall

I recently reinstalled my PC to factory settings. Before doing so i had installed MATLAB R2016a, but now when i went to www.mathworks.com to reinstall MATLAB using the Student License i have i get a weird error (Error 1935: 'Microsoft VC80CRT.type='Win32" 6195'pub1icKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchiteture="amd64") and it exits the setup-guide. Can't i use the same license anymore? Do i have to deactivate it? What sould I do?

You may have to go to the MathWorks Licence Centre and deactivate it there. This is inconvenient, but not difficult.
MathWorks uses the disk volume label to identify your computer (at least in Windows machines), and if you are allowed only one installation to each computer, you have to deactivate it from that computer. If you did not deactivate it before you reinstalled everything else, you have to do it from the Licence Centre.
