Error using MATLAB Compiler: "This file cannot be added to the CTF archive because it will cause an error when the application or library is run"

Hello all i want to convert m-file to a stand alone application. I entered the following in command window. mbuild -setup and i have selected the compiler Lcc. but when i entered the command

mcc -m myfilename.m

I got the following errors. The file 'C:\Documents and Settings\ototemp-u\My Documents\MATLAB\NUM.m' is empty (zero bytes long).

 This file cannot be added to the CTF archive because it will cause an error  
 when the application or library is run. Add valid content to this file if 
 your application or library requires this file. 
Failed to build CTF file: 'trial6.ctf'. 
??? Error using ==> mcc
Error executing mcc, return status = 1 (0x1)

Examine NUM.m . Is it empty, or does it consist entirely of comments?

Thank you for the answer.

I made changes in my program, now i have included the command mcc -m filename in my program. The .exe file is not opening up automatically. I opened the file manually by searching its location, but after opening,the .exe file is closing by itself without displaying anything.please do not hesitate to ask me any further questions.

I suggest running dependency walker http://www.dependencywalker.com/

Also, running it in the windows shell might give time for messages to show.
