I cleared the Command Window and now it is not working properly

I cleared the command window and now the >> is missing every time you hit 'enter'.It wont run anything.

Is it running something else then? The bottom left of your MATLAB GUI would display some message (Busy, Ready etc.). If not try quitting and restarting MATLAB.

Which Matlab version and operating system are you using? How did you clear the window? Ist the problem reproducible when you restart Matlab?

Enter 'Ctrl + C' and this will return command window to its normla state.
