error-creating gui

I have creating gui and have assigned two pushbuttons for readind an image and for edge detection,

in pushbutton 1 i have coded for reading an image and in pushbutton 2 coded for edge detection,

i read the image and it displays in gui,but when i click 2nd pushbutton ,i get error,undefined variable I and

Error while evaluating uicontrol Callback please help how to correct it

Please post the original code and a copy of the error message. "I get error, undefined variable" does not contain enough details to allow for an easy and efficient answer.
