Importing data from .rsp file

Hi all,
I have several data files from testing which have inputs from 18 sensors over a time period and its all stored in a .RSP file, which is some form of binary format but I dont know more than that. It has metadata attached too, which Id like to keep.
Basically what I want to do is import all the data and do a simple matrix multiplication and output the file again with the altered values but everything else remaining the same. I tried the import wizard but that came up no good. I can use the fread function but it reads in random values and the data is scattered and unusable. Any ideas how I could pull this off/is it possible?
Cheers

Forgot it was an RPC file, you're a champ.

Sounds like DIRSIG. See here for script references.
