How to Determine Confidence Intervals of Linear Regression in Matlab

I have a linear regression fit and I would like to determine the 95% confidence of the slope and intercept of the fit. I have come across many programs for doing so, including coefCI, polyparci, regress and others, but I'm still unclear as to how best to determine the confidence interval. Also, it would be helpful to understand why different programs give different results. Can anyone give me any info on this?
