6 views (last 30 days)
Hi, I downloaded the R2016b from https://in.mathworks.com/products/compiler/mcr.html . When I am trying to run the setup on my system having Windows 7(64-bit). The error displayed is MCR_R2016b_win64_installer.exe is not a valid win32 application.

It appears that your Windows system is configured for 32 bit not 64

Hi Walter
No, my system has W7 64bit as you can see in the image attached here.
I've tried this in other laptop also with 64bit W7 but there also didn't get installed. Same error.
Thanks Shivam

No image was attached.
The known possibilities are:
  • not a 64 bit system
  • corruption in download
  • firewall / antivirus are messing up the downloading
  • you ran out of disk space
