Hi,
I had an error using the function "normrnd" for generating random samples in a normal distribution today.
My code reads like this:
n1 = normrnd(1:6,1./(1:6))
the error reads like this:
Undefined function 'normrnd' for input arguments of type 'double'.
Could someone please help me with this problem?
Thanks a lot! Linxi

You do not have the Statistics toolbox installed and/or licensed.
If you are using a Student license then you probably forgot to install the Statistics toolbox.

If you are using a recent matlab then the Add-on Explorer can be used to install toolboxes that you have licensed.
