How to load .HLY data in matlab?

Hello everyone,
I have recently downloaded some data that are in . HLY format. Every time I try to load the data in matlab its tells me that within a certain line the number of columns is not the same as the others. I was wonder if there is a certain command to .HLY files to load or what do I so? I am a bit lost in this.
Thank you in advance

@Mariam: Are you aware that the file format of files called .HLY is not uniquely defined? We cannot guess which file type you actually have. In addition we do not see the code you are using. Perhaps load, which tries to interprete the file as ASCII file written by save('-ASCII')?
There was a trojan called "TROJ_RANSOM.HLY" in 2013, also known as "Trojan-Ransom.Win32.Blocker.bmxp". If you have problems to open it - congratualtions.
Your own thread is the 5th hit found by Google, when I search for ".hly file" - a bad hint. If Google cannot guess, what you mean, how could the forum do this?
