How to hold output value as 'zero' once it is 'zero'?

Hi everyone. I get two outputs from a matlab function which are '1' and '0'. These outputs are depended on the previous parameters which I have defined in my system. Thus, these output values may be changed accordingly. The initial output is '1'. Now, I want to hold my output only as '0' once the output is '0'. What should be the code for that?
