[Windows] 2017a Installer crashes when selecting install path

1 view (last 30 days)
As the title says, the installer simply crashes when pressing the "Browse" button on the install path. No error is given and I've tried downloading a new installer and deleting the old files; didn't work. How do I install Matlab somewhere else than on the 64 GB drive it defaults to?

You should be able to install in any location and ideally installer should not crash. Restart your computer before beginning a fresh install of MATLAB. If you are still facing issues, call the MathWorks Installation Support and they should be able to help you.
