How to make matlab start by opening a folder than doesn't have a matlab folder as a root

Hi,
I want matlab to open a folder C:\Users\w\Documents\paper1 automatically when I start it instead of manually searching the folder each each time I launch matlab. How can I do so?

You can change it under preferences.
