This error can occur due to the following:
If you have not accepted the Online Services Agreement, you will receive this error when attempting to verify or reverify with the university. To resolve, sign into your MathWorks Account from a different browser and accept the Online Services Agreement.
To verify with the university, you must use a MathWorks Account created with your university email address. If you are not using a university email address for your MathWorks account, please create one.
Note: The university email address must use the university email domain of the university that you are attempting to link/verify to.
If neither of the above solution apply, your University may not list you as a valid user within the University's Shibboleth system. To test, please reproduce the error, and when you are on the page that says "MathWorks Account Unavailable" please open the link below in the same browser.
Once on this page, please copy the contents, create a service request by contacting Customer Support, and paste the contents into the service request. This will allow us to see what MathWorks account is paired to your University log in and assist in resolving the issue.

Since I have no idea, where to get help on this problem I'll ask here.
I have the same problem, but when I try to ask for help on https://www.mathworks.com/support/contact_us.html I need a product licence. Now the question is where do I get it. I already contacted the Uni's technical support and was firmly rebuffed with (not a problem on our side) so I am hesitant to contact them again.
