won't let me in!!

I downloaded program after creating account. Finished everything. Connect Big edge client so you can check my user license to my university, then successfully checked out. Then I try to open Matlab and it says license manger fail error -9 WTF please help

Please add the details instead of "finished everything". I do not know what the "Big edge client" is or why it matters here. I cannot check your license, as the other members of the forum can't also. What does "then successfully checked out" mean?
