Trying to run 2017b trail version in archlabs linux

This is what is showing up on the terminal:

MATLAB is selecting SOFTWARE OPENGL RENDERING. terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::runtime_error' what(): Unable to launch the MATLABWindow application Fatal Internal Error: std::exception: map::at

I'll try to see if it will work in VM in Window7 with another linux such as Ubuntu.

I did not encounter this error installing 2017b on Ubuntu 16.04 on a 2011 sony vaio laptop.
