Error message when executing bwmorph: "Can't reload C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2017b\bin\win64\imagesgpu.dll'

Dear Matlab Support Team,
I'm using Matlab 2017b on a Windows 7 system (64-bit) in combination with the Image Processing Toolbox, however I cannot use the command "bwmorph" on black-and-white images (logical matrices). The above-mentioned error appears.
