Old class definitions in MATLAB2012

2 views (last 30 days)
Dear Matlab users!
I am working on an old project from 2004, with old class definitions
@classname - syntax instead of classdef.
I cannot easily browse these objects like structures, which costs me a lot of time. Do you have a hint for me, how to easily browse these kind of objects?
I would very appriciate your kind help, Philipp

Hi Philipp,
what do you mean by "easily browse"? Do you mean taking a look at the properties?
You might convert to a structure using
x = struct(yourObject);
and take a look at x then, does this help?

Hi Titus,
thanks for your solution.
Yes, I want to look at the properties in the variable editor, which is supported in resent matlab versions.
Your solution works fine for exploring the properties of old objects.
