shall i need matlab compiler and matlab compiler sdk for creating .exe files?

I wish to create .exe files from matlab code which can be run from system which does not have matlab installed. Shall i able to create .exe files from matlab compiler SDK or need both Matlab compiler and matlab compiler SDK. Can anyone provide insights about it?

You need MATLAB Compiler for that purpose, but not MATLAB Compiler SDK.

Note: MATLAB Compiler SDK also requires MATLAB Compiler to be installed. But you do not need SDK for what you are doing.

MATLAB Compiler SDK is for creating DLL or creating pre-compiled MATLAB callable from Java or .NET
