How can I perform independent component analysis on a numeric matrix?

Hello, I am trying to use independent component analysis to find out the likelihood that a certain type of eye surgery would give a particular outcome. My inputs are measurements of the axial length of the eye, curvature of the cornea and so on. All data are numeric. The data are out into a numeric matrix of 8 columns and 1496 rows. I have imported the data to MATLAB. I am not sure what is the next step I should do, ca anyone help please?
