How to improve a Thz image quality ?

I'd like to know how to improve the image that comes from a terahertz camera with matlab ? the image is linked, I also have a video, can I work on the video to improve the image? Thanks in advance

I'd start by asking the camera manufacturer. Do they say that what you have is absolutely the best possible image that their camera can make? Or do they have any tips for you on how to make the image better? It's always better to start with as good an image as you can, rather than to try to "fix up" a bad image.

This image comes from a terahertz camera, we want to use it for defect detection. But it has a very low image quality, my goal is after scanning the product, improve the imaging with matlab.

I don't know much about terahertz images but the shapes can be seen clearly in the second image. Why can't you use it? I'd do a background correction to flat-field correct the image, but other than that it looks pretty good. Are you talking about the second/improved image?

the image to be improved is the first to be scanned. The second image shows the shapes that one should normally have.

The two images don't even look like they're of the same scene. I'd contact your instrument vendor for tips on imaging your sample.
