Can I read from Brooks Secondary Electronics with Simulink?

I'm new with data reading from serial ports, but I need to read data from a gas flow secondary electronics from Brooks (Model 0254). I saw that it can be done with LabView (https://www.brooksinstrument.com/en/products/accessories-software/product-software/brooks-labview-dll), however, I wonder if it is possible to do it with Simuink and/or MATLAB.
Can someone show some examples?
