discritizing geomtry from cad in matlab

Dear . can matlab import a certain geomtry 2-d file from Cad ,, i would like to discritize a certain geomtry on autocad by matlab , such that when i input on matlab that X-X diff = Y-Y difference = 2 mm between points of this geomtry, it would produce me an array of certain thousands of points that i take this array on a text file and input it to lapview to control the a measuring prope coorddinates in this geometry. is there certain steps to achieve that ?

This can be very much doable in MATLAB. Give some input and tell us your expectations....
Hey , but I dont know the criteria to do so ... imagine that you have only a cad 2D geometry file ... in order to do so .. should this cad file be converted first to text file? And the geometry would be 2 arrays of x , y or that cad file would be exported to matlab without converting it to text first and the matlab would define this geometry by arrays , I dont know how this would be done , also the code to discritize this geometry would not be easy as I think , because the geometry has sharp edges ( blade geometry of a gas turbine ) so please tell me how should you begin or if you have certain steps to do so
