Swapping ICE for Battery Electric Motor

I want to swap out the ICE used in this model, and replace it with battery powered BLDC motor with a converter. This is to simulate an electric car. Would anybody know how to achieve this as simply as possible as I'm pretty inexperienced using Simulink/ Simscape? I want to simulate a driver putting their for down on the pedal from an initial velocity of 0km/hr to max velocity.
