Start New Matlab Window From Command Line.

Hello,
I want to be able to start a new Matlab window from the command line. I have a script that separates a data set into two files and then applies a function two each data set. Currently, I have to manually start these functions but would like to have it automated. Any advice would be great.
Thanks!

Adrian,
Take a look at the "system" command:
system('matlab')

Hey Scoutt,
This solution does not work. The first Matlab waits for the second Matlab to finish before continuing.
Hello Malcolm,
Is there a similar solution for Linux?
Thanks!
