Application crashes when created from simulink on my ipad (simulink ios support package)

I am trying to create a simple application where I just record an audio. The app builds correctly and gets installed on my ipad, however when I click to open the app, it crashes and closes. Can you please help me why this happens. I have an ipad air and xcode provisioned my deivce normally. Thank you.

Which IOS version do you have?
And which MATLAB version are you using?
