How can I export tunable parameters via FMI?

I'm trying to export a Simulink model using the "Tool-Coupling Co-Simulation FMU Export for Simulink" for co-simulation on another platform.

My model has a number of 2D lookup tables which act as parameters that need to be tuned during simulation.

When I export the model to FMU, I can assign the required I/Os but the parameters seem to be fixed.

Any hints on how I can make the lookup tables tunable?
