MATLAB startup failure, java.lang.NullpointerException
Show older comments
I have recently bought a new computer and succesfully installed Matlab with license and so on. Unfortunately I am receiving this code-fail whenever I try to launch Matlab. I have tried uninstalling & re-installing Matlab, but it doesn't seem to work.

if you using an app called magnet (manage windows size) on Mac OS, keep matlab main window open and go to magnet, click to 'ignore Matlab'.
the the problem might be fixed.

Thanks, that ignore option in Magnet actually fixed my issue too.
