Why does the squeeze block in Simulink not work (in my case) ?

Hi all,
does anybody know why i get data in form of 1x1x ..... by using this constelation? I tried to erase one dimension with the squeeze block but it doesn't work.

I'm also curious why a 1x1xN matrix doesn't seem to activate the squeeze block properly. Using the MATLAB command from the terminal works on the simulation output, though.
