How do I verify the fundamental expression (as shown below) for real power transfer through an inductance Xs where delta is the angle difference between phasor Vt and Ef using Matlab?

If I were to guess: measure a signal coming off some point, and also have some blocks that calculate the expression, and then display the measurement and the calculated value both. Perhaps also plot the difference between the measurement and the calculation.
