function y = transistor(uds)
egs=5;
eds=12;
r=4e3;
u0=3;
beta=9e-4;
g=8e-5;
if egs<=u0
id=g*uds;
elseif egs>0 && uds<(egs-u0) %Error using transistor (line 12) Not enough input arguments.
id=beta*(2*(egs+u0)-uds+g*uds);
elseif egs>u0 && uds>=(egs-u0);
id=beta*(egs+u0)*(egs+u0)+g*uds;
end
y=eds-uds-r*id;

You are trying to run the code by clicking on the green Run button. You need to go down to the command line and invoke the function passing in an appropriate parameter, such as
transistor(sqrt(3))
