Hi,
I have been trying to install and activate the license MATLAB R2013a(32-bit) and R2013b(64-bit) both on windows 10 (64-bit). I have a full suite license that is given to me by may universoty, which is linked to my university e-mail (Universidad de Sevilla) , I also have a personal student account which I acquired before my university provided me with the full suite license, I got just the basic package (MATLAB & SIMULINK, R2017b) which runs fine, I had no problem with the installation of the license. The Rb2017b license is linked to my personal account so i amusing my university one, even though I think I should be able to use my own account. Unfortunately i need ttese older versions since we are using code that no longer works in newers versions of MATLAB. When installing both versions i have no issues when installing the software all of them come when activating the license, i also made sure i have the common and the win files before installation. Here are the problems:
R2013a
-When opening the license activation part, I am requested a 20 digit number as well as my e mail (in 5 groups of 4 numbers) which i hace no access to, i have the .lic files downloaded n my computer for this version but I cant open or interact with them. The license installation key is way longer than that number so i cant type it. If i just passand write all zeros it ask for my account password which i type, then request information to verify if i am a student (university, degree etc.) and when I enter it proceeds to crash, giving me these messages:
The application could not connect to MathWorks. Please make sure your internet connection is available and that all software and hardware firewalls have been disabled before retrying your request.
There was an unexpected exception:
null
See the log file (--------Actual directions to a file I dont understand----------.log) for more details.
I have connection to the internet so the first error makes no sense (i even disabled all firewalls). The second error log may be the key but when I look it u on the internet it seems that the instalation of the license should be way more straightforward.
R2013b
It doesnt even open the license activation, i click next an it closes with no warning or error. For this installation i only dowunloaded the minimum required to work (Matlab common and win files, same for simulink and the installator).
Hope someone could help me in this one!!
Thanks in advance.

Also keep in mind that the first release officially supported on Windows 10 was release R2015a according to the previous releases system requirements page. Windows 10 was released in 2015. I don't remember offhand if there were any issues reported by people using releases R2013a or R2013b on Windows 10 when it came out.
