reading text files in different folders and combining them

Hi i have multiple text files in different folders with data in same format (2000 rows and 7 columns). i want to combine the data in single file (so that i can read this single file and do the plotting.). What should be the best way to combine initial set of files. Any help will be highly appreciated.
