Simscape and simulink modeling

Hi everybody,

I've been working on some modeling of a single phase transformer using Simscape electrical and magnetic domains.

The induced voltages in electric circuit are generated by a controled voltage source based on the derivative of magnetic flux as determined by the magnetic circuit.

Input parameters for magnetic circuit are MMFs of each phase. For calculation of magnetic flux, Physical Signals blocks from Simscape are used.

After the flux is calculated, the only thing needed is derivative in Simulink domain and the output signal is conected as the input signal for controled voltage source.

For this model I have 2 questions:

• Running the model indicates problem during solving so is there any way to ensure numeric stability. Also after replacing Transfer Fnc block with time derivative, the model can't run properly?
• How and where to include initial condition for magnetic flux?
