I want to add a top header or banner line to a figure that has multple plots. Pseudo code is like this
figure;subplot(1,1,1);title('Big Title');subplot(2,2,1);title('Little One');subplot(2,2,2);title('Little Two');
That code generate two subplots and overwrites the 'Big Title'. The plots are saved to fig files and pdf files because not everyone had MatLab, so I'm using pdf files to communicate information with them.

If you have R2018b or later, use the sgtitle function. For earlier versions, the File Exchange contribution suplabel will likely do what you want.
