Why does the MathWorks Product Installer for macOS lack an installer_input.txt file? It is not in the traditional installer nor the DMG.

To comply with new security restrictions in macOS Sierra and newer, the installer_input.txt and the silent installer executable is no longer packaged with the MathWorks Product Installer.
To obtain the executable that can be used for silent installation as well as the installer_input.txt file, download the normal installer and then select to "download without installing" from the Advanced Options after signing into your MathWorks account. This will download a version of the installer that can be used for silent installation.
