Importing multiple files.

Hello all.

I am trying to import mulitple *.txt files. Each of the files are stored in the same directory and have different file names i.e. SSE20_001 , SSE20_002, ...etc. each file has two colums of data headed , "distance" and "u". how can i import all the files at the same time and change the column header u to be i.e. SSE20_001u SSE20_002u? Thank you.
