Simulation using MATLAB (KRAKEN MODEL).

1) Firstly consider a stationary ship at sea, there are numerous tonals or frequencies that ship can
generate due to equipments fitted onboard say due to generator , motors and other running machinery.
Now, there is a hydrophone terminal which is fitted under water at a depth of approx 50 meters which is
receiving these tonal frequencies.
2) Now considering NORMAL MODE theory i.e using KRAKEN model of MATLAB we have to find
out impulse response between source and various hydrophones terminals placed under water (say 5 in
number 20 metres apart from each other). (ie with stationary source and multiple tonals generated by
the ship fitted equipment)
3) Secondly, now consider ship is in motion, moving at say 20m/s, calculate time varying impulse
response between source and various hydrophones terminals placed under water (say 5 in number 20
metres apart from each other).
Note:- MATLAB code required comments with each line for proper explanation and report explaining
output obtained with respect to input.

I think None is there to solve this problem .....
What have you done so far? What specific problems are you having with your code?
No idea about Normal Mode Theory.. Thanks for Response James
