Help using solve with matrixes

Hey everyone.

I have 2 3x3 matrixes (A and B) that I know that represent the same, but are expressed in different ways. The variables that are inside A are known, and the variables that are inside B are the ones that I need to find. However, I am trying to compute everything in a symbolic manner to mantain everything as generic as possible.

So, I was thinking of doing the following:

S=(A-B); %since S solves for eq=0;

[V1 V2 V3] = solve(S);

But I get the Warning: Explicit solution could not be found.

Any ideas?
