SimPower System (Asynchronous Machine)

Recently I've begun to use a SimPower System toolbox. So I would like to fill out data of the block "Asynchronous Machine". Data sheet of my machine contains some following parameters: Rated power: [kW] Rated torque: [Nm] Rated speed: [rpm] Rated voltage (line-to-line): [V] Rated frequency: [Hz] Power factor:[-] Inertia: [kgm2] Rated current: [A] Number of poles: [-] Efficiency: [%] Phase resistance: [Ohm] Reduce rotor resistance: [Ohm] Main Inductance: [H] Leakage inductance: [H] Reduced leakage inductance: [H]
So the question is, how should I properly fill out the data of the SimPower System block called "Asynchronous Machine". In particular I can't understand what does it mean "Nominal power [VA] " if we take into account available examples of the machines. Why the nominal power parameter of the machines from available example is equal to rated nominal power [kW]? If I fill out the Asynchronous Machine block using nominal power [kW] like in available examples I achieve different rated current and nominal speed of the machine. I know, that these parameters among other things depend on efficiency of the machine (construction of the machine), which I can't take into consideration in the Asynchronous Machine block. Is it a real reason of this situation?

The real power in watts (W) is equal to the apparent power in volt-amps (VA), times the power factor. Therefore, at unity power factor we get the nominal power in V*A and W will be the same.
