Optimising using CAD in Simulink | Linkage Mechanisms

I want to optimise a linkage mechanism using simulink. I am importing using CAD (SolidWorks).
The assembly works fine and simulating without errors.
But the length of links imported from CAD are fixed (not variable). Can I make them parametric in some way? Or is there any other way to optimise such mechanisms?
