Undefined function 'upfirdn' for input arguments of type 'double'

Hello,
I am working with BCILAB but when I run one of the tasks, I get the following error (below):
Undefined function 'upfirdn' for input arguments of type 'double'
From what I can understand, Matlab doesn't recognize the function 'upfirdn'. With some searching online I think this function is part of the "signal processing toolbox". I may be wrong though.
Is there anyway to verify that I have the signal processing toolbox? and also how I could get it?
Thanks!

‘Is there anyway to verify that I have the signal processing toolbox?
Run this in a script or the Command Window:
ver('signal')
producing something like this (if you have it installed):
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MATLAB Version: 9.9.0.1538559 (R2020b) Update 3
MATLAB License Number: #####
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro Version 10.0 (Build 18363)
Java Version: Java 1.8.0_202-b08 with Oracle Corporation Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM mixed mode
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Signal Processing Toolbox Version 8.5 (R2020b)
Getting it depends on the sort of license you have.

So I don't have the Singal Processing Toolbox, and when I click on "Add-ons" > "Get Add-Ons" I get this error:
Dot indexing is not supported for variables of this type.
Error in matlab.internal.addons.AddOnsWindow/bringToFront (line 68)
obj.webwindow.bringToFront();
Error in matlab.internal.addons.Manager/show (line 51)
obj.addOnsWindowInstance.bringToFront();
Error in matlab.internal.addons.launchers.showManager (line 70)
matlab.internal.addons.Manager.getInstance.show(navigationData);
I'm using Matlab2020b, on Macbook pro Catalina 10.15.17
I have no idea what the problem could be with the ‘Add-Ons’ app.
First, close and re-start MATLAB and see if that solves the ‘Add-Ons’ app problem.
If it does not, it may be necessary for you to Contact Support.
